Two-Step Protein Treatment process was developed to repair severely damaged hair including hair that is breaking off, over-processed, over-bleached, severely damaged, and it can also be used as a pre-treatment to colouring hair. No method is better at repairing damaged hair than a two-step approach.

This remedial process is highly recommended for hair that:

  • Is too weak or fine to take a perm or relaxer. (use the week before service)
  • Is over-bleached.
  • Will not hold colour. (use before colour application for 30% less fade after 10 Shampoos)
  • Breaks when combed or brushed.
  • Is mushy when wet and brittle after drying.

The Balancing Moisturizer is a necessary second step. Sold separately.

Directions: Shake well before use

  1. Gently cleanse hair with ApHogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair. Rinse thoroughly and towel blot dry.
  1. Apply enough ApHogee Treatment to thoroughly saturate hair and comb blend through with a wide toothed comb for even distribution.
  1. Leave hair uncovered, DO NOT use a plastic cap. Seat client under medium heat dryer, with high airflow. (Alternatively, a hand dryer may be used, but hair SHOULD NOT be agitated while drying.) NOTE: When ApHogee Treatment is dried into the hair, the hair becomes extremely hard. DO NOT comb or brush hair while ApHogee Treatment is dried and in the hair.
  1. Re-wet and gently rinse thoroughly with warm water. Remove all excess dried protein. Towel dry.
  1. Apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer to hair and scalp. Leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
  1. Proceed to next service or style as usual.

Unwanted Goods: Please return goods unused and in original packaging in perfect condition for resale within 14 days of receipt. We recommend obtaining proof of postage. A full refund (minus the shipping costs) will be made on receipt of the returned goods. Please note that you are responsible for shipping costs when returning unwanted goods. .

Faulty Goods: If any of the goods are faulty we will either refund the cost amount in full or send you a replacement free of charge. Exchanging goods If you would like to exchange any items please contact us and we will do our best to get your exchanged items to you. Please be aware that you are responsible for the cost of sending the unwanted item back to us and also the shipping costs for sending out the exchange item. .

Changing or Cancelling Order: If you would like to cancel your order please do so before it has been dispatched. This is usually before 4pm on the same working day. If you would like to amend your order and the order has not been dispatched we will happily take payment of the extra items and send all items out together. If your order has already been dispatched we cannot add anymore items and you will be required to place an additional order. .

Will Any Return Costs Be Refunded: If you return something because of an error on our part or because it's damaged or defective, we will refund any charges incurred in returning the item to us (either by a personalized pre-paid return label or by refunding your return postage costs. We'll check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to recharge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you. When will I receive my refund? We process all refunds the same day we receive the goods back and it can take up to 3-5 working days for the refund to show on your card.
